Harry Potter Speedrunning Updates

Harry Potter Speedrunning Updates is a project first conceptualised by Mineycart in early 2023 as a way of helping people to keep up to date with what's going on across the community. Since then the team has grown tremendously to include more people, who you can see below.

Originally output for the project was simply updates on World Record Anniversary Tweets as well as a monthly recap series of the events in the Harry Potter Speedrunning community. In December 2023 a new programme was added to the roster called "HP Insider". HP Insider is an inside look at members of the Harry Potter Speedrunning Community. The podcast hosted by Ablazeknight looks through the guest's entire speedrunning career and invites them to tell their stories as well as their plans for the future.

Community Recap

The Community Recap is HPSR Updates' flagship series and began in January 2023. The series releases on an monthly basis and aims to provide a short breakdown of the events of the last month in the Harry Potter Speedrunning Community. Hosted by a variety of amazing vocal talent the HPSR Community recap is the place to be to stay up to date on the biggest stories in the HPSR Community.

The HPSR Community Recap is a series lead by Mineycart, Written by Nickie_sr, subtitled by Winterstorm37 and hosted by a variable of HP Speedrunning talent.

HP Insiders

HP Insiders is HPSR Updates flagship podcast which began in December 2023. The podcast is released on a monthly basis and is a conversation between two people, Ablazeknight (who hosts the show) as well as guest. The podcast is a deep dive on the guest of the month, their jounrey into and through HP Speedrunning as well as their goals and aspirations for the future.

HP Insiders is a series created lead and produced by Ablazeknight for HPSR Updates featuring various HP Speedrunning talent.

Community Interviews

Community Interviews is a series lead by Mineycart and began in November 2022. It is a companion show to the Community Recap with snippets from the full length Community Interviews episodes featuring in the recap episodes. The series is as simple as it sounds with an interviewer talking in depth to a member of the community usually around a specific topic, event or series of events in order to try to better highlight said topic or events to the community.

Community Interviews is a series lead by Mineycart with interviews conducted by Miney and Nickie_sr featuring various HP Speedrunning talent.

Recap Rewind

Recap Rewind is a series lead by Mineycart and Henrik and is a companion series to the Community Recap that launched in January 2024. The series is HPSR Updates' second podcast and is in the style of a roundtable discussion about the news of the last month allowing the team to talk in more depth about the events of the last month while ensuring the Community Recap main series can stay as a short and concise recap. The series can be seen as a spiritual successor to Community Interviews despite both running in tandem.

Recap Rewind is a series lead by Mineycart, Co-edited by Henrik and guested by various HP Speedrunning talent.
